Hotels in Bluewaters Island
Bluewaters Island is the small man-made island just off JBR beach, and it suits travellers who want a resort stay with Dubai Marina and The Beach within walking distance instead of a taxi ride away. A pedestrian bridge of under 300 metres links it to The Beach at JBR, so the Dubai Tram (Jumeirah Beach Residence 2 stop) and the beachfront promenade are reachable on foot. There is no metro station on the island: the closest is Jabal Ali on the Red Line, from where RTA bus F57 runs across, and a water bus connects Bluewaters Marine Transport Station with Dubai Marina Mall. Hotel choice is short. Banyan Tree Dubai, the former Caesars Palace, has a private beach of about 500 metres facing the open sea, which is the real reason to sleep here rather than on JBR's public sand. The trap: Ain Dubai, the giant observation wheel at the island's tip, was still closed to riders when this guide was checked in 2026, with no reopening date announced, so do not build a trip around it. I would come between November and March; from June to September, cross the bridge early in the morning or after sunset. Drivers turn off Sheikh Zayed Road just after Dubai Marina Mall and park underground.
