Our take
The S Hotel Al Barsha is a comfortable four-star that puts its weight on facilities: a swimming pool, spa facilities, a fitness centre and diverse dining, with family rooms and city views. A 7.8 rating from nearly 3,400 guests is respectable rather than outstanding, so I would set expectations at solid comfort, not luxury. I would recommend it to families and couples who want a practical base in Al Barsha, and suggest a higher-rated hotel for a special occasion.
